What You Will Be Doing:
-Prepare and file complex tax returns on behalf of clients
-Compile supporting financial statements and documents
-Review returns prepared by junior accountants
-Assist with federal and state tax audits
-Respond to inquiries from regulatory agencies
-Perform tax research, staying up to date on changes
Requirements:
-3+ years public accounting experience, with at least 2 years in tax.
-Experience preparing complex returns and reviewing simple to average business returns.
-Experience managing client relationships and dealing directly with clients to gather information
-Ability to do tax research
-Excellent communication skills and ability to follow through - as you will be dealing directly with clients, supervising staff and reporting back to partners
-Ideally, some experience managing and training staff
