Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to oversee our tax planning, compliance, and reporting processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax analysis and public accounting, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and manage tax preparation projects to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee the preparation and filing of federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses.
Conduct thorough tax analysis to identify opportunities for tax savings and compliance improvements.
Provide strategic tax planning and advice to clients, ensuring optimal tax strategies are implemented.
Review and manage the tax provision process in accordance with GAAP.
Utilize tax software such as CCH Axcess and Ultratax for preparation and filings.
Maintain strong client communication to address tax-related inquiries and provide updates on compliance.
Supervise and mentor junior tax staff to foster professional development and ensure high-quality service delivery.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation required.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax.
Proficiency in tax software, particularly CCH Axcess and Ultratax.
Experience with QuickBooks and other financial software.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in tax analysis and compliance.
Excellent client communication and interpersonal skills.
