Sanitation Supervisor - Food Manufacturing

Position Overview
The Sanitation Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all sanitation operations within the facility, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards while maintaining a clean and sanitary environment for production. This role is crucial in the food processing industry to uphold product quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and train sanitation staff in proper cleaning techniques and safety protocols.
• Develop, implement, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for sanitation practices.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards including HAACP and GMP regulations.
• Coordinate and manage daily sanitation schedules to ensure timely completion of cleaning tasks.
• Monitor the sanitation processes and maintain records of cleaning activities, chemicals used, and equipment cleaned.
• Ensure proper handling and repackaging of products in compliance with sanitation guidelines.
• Evaluate and improve sanitation processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in food science or related field is a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a Sanitation role within the food processing or manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of HAACP, SOPs, GMP, and sanitation regulations.
• Experience with Individual Quick Freezing (IQF) processes is preferred.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to train and motivate staff.
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to safety and quality standards.

• Base Salary - $65,000 - $75,000
