We are a proven construction contractor located in Hampstead, MD. We are focused in Clearing, Earthwork, Site Utilities, Asphalt Paving, Soil Cement & Stabilization, and Reclamation. We are a growing company, but one where we treat our employees like family. We are looking for a Project Manager to join our team!
Job Duties:
-Review contracts to determine scope of work
-Collaborate with estimator to clarify any special considerations or complexities required for the job
-Monitor and record daily job materials, labor and production, compare progress with project schedule, advise Management of related issues
-Identify, document and obtain approval for extra work, including price formulation, communication and follow up with billing and payment
-Calculate value of completed work to date and cost of completion; report to Management as required with interpretation of areas of strength and weakness
-Collaborate with Divisional Superintendents on resources applied to job
-Initiate, develop and manage client relationships to maximize visibility, respect and reputation for CJM's products and services
-Review and approve billing to customers, follow up on unpaid invoices as required
-Other duties as assigned
Competencies & Requirements
-3+ years of construction experience
-Communication, analytical, organizational and PC skills
-Knowledge of site development scheduling and management
-Relationship management skills
-Knowledge of construction management software
-Ability to collect, analyze, report and interpret project cost data
-Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience and four years construction Project Management experience
