Manufacturing Engineer

Position Overview
The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes and improving product quality through effective engineering solutions. This role involves analyzing production workflows, implementing efficient manufacturing techniques, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement manufacturing processes that enhance productivity and reduce waste.
Conduct time studies and process analysis to identify areas for improvement.
Design and modify tooling and fixtures to improve manufacturability.
Collaborate with product design teams to ensure manufacturability of new products.
Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues as they arise.
Support continuous improvement initiatives through Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
Provide technical guidance and training to production staff as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience in a manufacturing engineering role, with a focus on machining processes.
Strong understanding of machining techniques and methodologies.
Familiarity with SolidWorks for design and modeling purposes is a plus.
Experience with CNC programming and operation is desirable.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
