Legal Assistant

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Legal Assistant to support our legal team in various tasks related to litigation and civil law. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of legal procedures and terminology, and will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our legal department.

Key Responsibilities

Assist attorneys in preparing for trials and hearings
Draft and file legal documents in accordance with court rules
Conduct legal research to support case preparation
Manage and organize case files and documents
Communicate with clients, witnesses, and court personnel
Schedule appointments, meetings, and court appearances
Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive information

Qualifications

Associate's degree or higher in Paralegal Studies or related field
Proven experience as a Legal Assistant, preferably in litigation
Familiarity with civil litigation procedures and terminology
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research software
