Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining financial records, preparing journal entries, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role is essential in supporting our accounting operations and contributes to the overall efficiency of the finance department.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
Perform journal entries and reconciliations in the general ledger.
Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
Document and maintain financial transactions in accordance with accounting principles.
Help prepare and analyze financial data for management review.
Utilize Excel and VLOOKUPS for data analysis and reporting.
Collaborate with the manufacturing team to ensure accurate cost accounting.
Work with Mitek systems for financial processing.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPS.
Experience with accounting software, preferably Mitek or Powerlink.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
Ability to work in-office and collaborate with team members.
Experience in manufacturing accounting is a plus.
