Integration Engineer - Python, Bash, REST APIs
Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid: 3 Days Onsite)
Compensation: $130K-$140K

About the Role

We're looking for an Integration Engineer to lead and build out technical integrations between our platform and partner solutions. This hybrid role (3 days/week onsite in Austin) blends hands-on coding with technical enablement - perfect for someone who enjoys both engineering and external collaboration.

What You'll Do 

As an Integration Engineer, you will lead and execute partner product integrations, ensuring seamless compatibility and performance optimization. Responsibilities include:

  • Design and develop integrations with partner products using Python, Bash, and REST APIs.
  • Lead technical discussions with partners to determine best integration approaches.
  • Build and optimize automation scripts for performance monitoring and security applications.
  • Manage Linux systems administration, virtualization (VMware/KVM), and orchestration tools (Chef/Puppet).
  • Develop test environments and automated regression testing to ensure quality and stability.
  • Provide technical documentation and demonstrations to showcase integration value.
  • Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering teams to improve integration features.

What We're Looking For What You'll Do 

  • 5+ years of experience with Python, Bash, Java, and REST API integrations.
  • Strong background in Linux systems administration and automation.
  • Experience with network security, monitoring, or performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with open-source tools (Wireshark, Suricata, Snort, Bro, ntop).
  • Experience with cloud/virtualization environments (AWS, OpenStack, Azure, VMware, KVM).
  • Ability to work independently while leading integration efforts with partners.

Nice to Have

  • Background in managing mission-critical applications
  • CCIE, CISSP, or similar network/security certifications
