Heading Machine Operator

Position Overview
The Heading Machine Operator is responsible for setting up and operating heading machines to produce precision metal components. This role is crucial in ensuring production efficiency and maintaining high-quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate heading machines according to production specifications.
Monitor machine operations to ensure adherence to safety standards and quality control measures.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the manufacturing process.
Perform routine maintenance on heading machines to ensure optimal performance.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings for accurate part production.
Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency and workflow.
Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Machine Operator, preferably in a metal forming environment.
Familiarity with CNC programming and operation.
Strong understanding of quality control processes and safety standards in manufacturing.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues effectively.
Experience in performing maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and techniques related to metal forming.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
