We are looking for an experienced Project Manager/Estimator with expertise in commercial painting and coatings. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the painting projects, including project coordination, estimating, scheduling, and budgeting. The Project Manager/Estimator will also ensure that the projects are completed on time and within budget.
Position Overview:
The Project Manager/Estimator will be responsible for managing and coordinating projects from start to finish, including estimating, scheduling, and budgeting. They will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the painting projects, including project coordination, estimating, scheduling, and budgeting. The Project Manager/Estimator will ensure that the projects are completed on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and manage accurate estimates for painting projects
Coordinate with management and subcontractors for project progression
Ensure timely completion of projects
Follow up on project progress and keep management updated
Maintain accurate records of projects, including scheduling and budgeting
Track and monitor inventory of painting materials
Monitor safety compliance and quality control
Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in project management and estimating
Strong knowledge of painting and coatings
Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in MS Office and cost estimating software
