Position Overview

We are seeking a Civil Defense Attorney with a minimum of two years of experience in Civil Litigation or Commercial Litigation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal research, case preparation, and courtroom advocacy. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-stakes cases, collaborate with seasoned attorneys, and develop expertise in civil defense strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Represent clients in civil litigation matters, including trials, hearings, and settlement negotiations.
Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
Provide strategic counsel to clients on litigation risks and defense strategies.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategies and ensure successful outcomes.
Manage case files, deadlines, and client communications effectively.

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Active license to practice law in Maryland.
Minimum of two years of experience in Civil Litigation or Commercial Litigation.
Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
